Privacy Policy

Jinen Labs, Inc. ("Jinen", "we", "us") operates the Jinen platform at app.jinen.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up via Google OAuth or email, we collect your name, email address, and a profile identifier from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Content you create. Text, images, videos, files, and any other content you upload or generate through the platform is stored on your behalf so we can deliver the service.

Usage data. We collect metadata about how you interact with the platform: pages visited, features used, conversation history with the AI, error events, and performance timing. This is used to improve Jinen.

Technical data. IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs are captured in server logs. Logs are retained for up to 90 days.

2. How We Use Your Data

Service delivery. To run the AI orchestration, store your content, generate and host your project sites, and respond to your requests.
AI processing. Your content and prompts are sent to AWS Bedrock (Claude models) to fulfill AI tasks. AWS processes this data as a subprocessor under our agreement; it is not used to train foundation models by default.
Communication. To send transactional emails (account confirmations, security alerts). We do not send marketing emails without your opt-in.
Security and fraud prevention. To detect abuse, enforce rate limits, and maintain platform integrity.
Product improvement. Aggregated, de-identified usage patterns help us understand what to build next.

3. Third-Party Services

Amazon Web Services (AWS). Cloud infrastructure, database, file storage (S3), CDN (CloudFront), and AI inference (Bedrock). Data may be processed in US-East-1 and other AWS regions.
Google OAuth. Used for sign-in. We receive only the profile data Google provides during authentication.
Replicate. Used for AI music generation when you request audio content. Your prompts are sent to Replicate for inference.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data Retention

Your account data and content are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention purposes. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to:

Access a copy of your personal data
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and associated data
Export your content in a portable format
Object to certain processing activities

6. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics scripts (e.g. Google Analytics) are loaded on the platform.

7. Children's Privacy

Jinen is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256 via AWS). Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. For our full security practices, see our Security page.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the last revision.
